Dear PVUSD Families,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! We hope you had a wonderful summer filled with rest, relaxation, and memorable moments with loved ones.
There is so much excitement in the air as we gear up for the year ahead—especially as we transition into our new elementary and middle school grade spans:
  • TK–2: Appleby
  • 3–5: Ruth Brown
  • 6–8: Margaret White
Our custodial and facilities team has worked tirelessly all summer long to prepare our campuses for this exciting shift. We are deeply grateful for their hard work and dedication!
As with any big transition, there may be a few minor hiccups along the way. However, we are fully confident in our staff’s ability to work together, adapt quickly, and ensure a smooth start for every student.
Important Reminders:
  • Registration: If you haven't already, please make sure your child is registered for the upcoming school year via our website (www.pvusd.us). If you have questions, feel free to reach out directly to your child's 2026–2027 school office.
  • Campus Upgrades: Beyond the grade-span changes, several of our campuses received a fresh look over the break! Palo Verde High School, Ruth Brown, and Twin Palms have all been freshly painted and are looking fantastic.
  • First Day of School: Students return on Monday, August 10th!
Until then, please enjoy these final days of summer break. We can’t wait to welcome your children back to campus!
