Nutrition Services Announcements

PVUSD Students and Community,
We are glad to inform you that ALL students will be receiving breakfast and lunch for FREE! This includes all high school students and there is no meal application form required as this is thanks to USDA waivers provided for this academic school year.

Students on independent study will also have access to breakfast and lunch for the days they are not in-person. Please contact Nutrition Services at (760) 922-4164 ext. 1222 to place a weekly pre-order prior to 10:00 am on Tuesdays. Independent study meals will be available for pickup for those who pre-ordered Wednesdays from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm in front of the cafeteria at Felix J. Appleby Elementary.

In addition, we are pleased to offer bulk feeding to ALL children under 18 years of age Wednesday from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm by the Cafeteria at Palo Verde High School. In order to receive 7 days of snack and supper, a child or a meal ID card needs to be present. As a reminder, meals will be provided on a first come first serve basis and we ask all meal recipients to wear a facemask.

Please refer to the attached flyers for additional information for independent study and bulk meals.

Thank you all in advance for your continued support and encourage you to reach out with any questions.

Kind regards,
Nutrition Services
