Title 1
Title 1 Parent Involvement: English/Spanish
The Palo Verde Unified School District assures that your children, our students, will all have a fair, equal and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach, at a minimum, proficiency on challenging State academic achievement standards and State academic assessments. This purpose can be accomplished by the implementation of the PVUSD governing board policies and administrative regulations. Hard copies of these policies are available upon request at the District Administration Office or at your child’s school.
- Schoolwide Title 1 funding: The purpose of a schoolwide programming is to improve academic achievement throughout a school so that all students, particularly the lowest-achieving students, demonstrate proficiency related to the challenging State academic standards (Title 34, Code of Federal Regulations [CFR] Part 200, Section 200.25[a][1]). The improved achievement is to result from improving the entire educational program of the school (34 CFR 200.25[a][2]).
