What is Clever?

Clever is an easy way for your child to access all of the learning applications they use at school. It allows them to access all of their learning applications by logging into Clever with their PVUSD Google Accounts.  They no longer have to remember usernames and password for all of the webapps they use in the classroom.  They simply log in to Clever, and they have instant, one click access, to all of their apps.

How can a student use Clever at home?
First, we recommend students use the Google Chrome web browser, and the Clever Chrome Extension, which can be downloaded from the links below.
Students will then go to, and click the Log In with Google button.
Your student will then enter their PVUSD email address, which is their StudentID, and their password.  Once your student is logged in, if you don’t have the Clever extension installed, you’ll see a notice at the top of the page prompting you to download and install it.
You’re now looking at the Clever Portal, which is populated based on School and Grade Level, with all the applications a student could need.  These may include Google Classroom, McGraw-Hill ConnectEd, MyHRW, MyOn, Renaissance Learning, and more.  Students can click on the application they wish to open, and they will be instantly logged in to that applications.
