High School Pool Opens!

The Blythe Police Activities League will again be opening the high school pool for seven weeks beginning June 17.

With the ongoing support from the Palo Verde Irrigation District and their continuing commitment to keep swimmers out of area canals, PAL will be able to provide water safety lessons for the community and a safe environment for the youth of the valley to swim. Blythe PAL will also have a swim team this summer for boys and girls.

Participants will be able to compete in out-of-town swim meets as well as two local swim meets.

If you are interested in making a tax deductible contribution to help with the ongoing support of the pool program please call the Blythe PAL office at 760-922-6111 Ext. 241 and ask for Shelly or come by the Blythe Police Department located at 240 N. Spring Street.

Available will be swim lessons, lap swim, water aerobics, a parent/child class, and open swim.
